How to get the closest shave...?

How do I get the closet shave on my "hooha", I have never really had any reason to shave and actually don't know but I am so tired of the nasty feeling I get when I get "excited" and the smells the hair traps. How do I get the closest shave? Thanks in advanced ladies!
